To reduce the need to sedate young patients and improve the patient and family experience, The Surgery Center of Fairbanks uses adventure designed rooms and staff who go out of their way to engage with children as they prepare for their procedure.
Our child friendly rooms combined with facility policies and procedures to educate the child and family in advance of the procedure are focused on making them as comfortable and relaxed as possible before, during and after the child’s care.
